But after living for 4 months already on the island, I must say I wouldn’t have chosen any other place in Asia to live in. Yes, prices are extremely high (going out one night could set you back 200 USD only on drinks), rent prices are the highest in the world, but there is something about this town that draws you in. The mix of nature and crazy city vibes, the large variety of food from all over Asia (or the world), the fact that I can be on the beach in 20 min from Central. I would go for Hong Kong anytime.
